Sheela Das is a professional performing artist, producer, songwriter and teacher. She is a multi-instrumentalist, proficient on the guitar, ukulele, penny whistle, and piano and is a master of the flute. Her musical education is broad including both formal training in music theory and performance as well as informal training through collaboration with traditional American music artists from many parts of the country. She is a member of the Ohio Arts Council’s teaching artist roster in both the Music and Multi-Disciplinary categories (2019-Present). Through a Kennedy Center for the Arts residency with international musician and producer, Todd Rundgren, Sheela delivered her original songs to teach K-12 curriculum - University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana (2016). Her vocal performance is part of the soundtrack to the award winning movie, My Blind Brother (Spyder Stompers and Sugar Pie).
