Recitals

Broadway School of Music & the Arts students are strongly encouraged to participate in recitals. We believe that performing for others is integral to becoming a musician.

All recitals are free and open to the community, followed by informal receptions to celebrate the musicians!

Quarterly recitals provide opportunities for the Broadway School community to come together to meet one another and celebrate the accomplishments of the students. All skill levels participate in the recitals and students work with their instructor to select a piece or pieces to perform and the instructor coaches on performance skills and etiquette. Oftentimes, instructors assist beginners or play duets to provide support and overcome first-time jitters. Audience members are usually the supportive family members of students, along with other guests.

We returned to in-person recitals for the 2021-2022 school year. We continue to evaluate the safety of in-person gatherings based on the most current guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Cuyahoga County Board of Health. Should we determine that group gatherings are not safe, online recitals will be scheduled. All recitals are free and open to the community, followed by informal receptions to celebrate the musicians!
