Art is not just something we look at. We see it, feel it, hear it, smell it and even sometimes taste it! Preschoolers especially like to be “all in” these experiences. This visual art class focuses on enriching sensory experiences for self-expression, creativity and learning. A variety of techniques are explored including molding, sculpting, printmaking, painting, use of natural found objects, and exploration of 3-dimensional art. Emphasis is put is on the process of creating rather than finished product. Instructors are happy to incorporate any themes, skills or learning objectives requested.
